Emerging Web Trends and Technologies

This was an ongoing website that we needed to expand upon in our Emerging Web Trends and Technologies class.

In this class, we explored CMS, HTML5, CSS3, Accessibility, Social Media, and did research on Web Developer Resources and Tools, along with some other assignments.

I thought it was really cool to learn and apply the new HTML5 and CSS3 standards (which I tried out on this website). I was really disappointed in the fact that not many browsers at the time supported the new technologies, and when they did, they did not fully support all the new enhancements –Firefox seemed to be the only one that seemed to be pretty much up to speed on this at the time of the class.
